The A-B Sample Kit provides a simple and compliant way to split urine samples for laboratory confirmation testing when used alongside urine cups with a built in extraction port like the SCOUT Scan Drug Cup.
Designed to meet AS/NZS 4308 requirements, this kit includes all the essential components needed to securely collect, seal and transport the A and B samples, without the need for pouring or handling urine.
When an onsite urine drug screen produces an unconfirmed positive result, the Australian Standard requires the sample to be divided into two sealed specimens (A and B) for laboratory analysis. This kit makes the process quick, hygienic and easy to manage.
Using a vacuette vacuum transfer system, the sample is automatically drawn into the collection tubes without the need to pour or handle urine directly. Each kit includes all the materials required to securely collect, seal and transport the sample to the laboratory.
